Update Outlook 2000 with Outlook 2003 SP3

My IP provider wants me to upgrade my Outlook 2000 (Office 2000P) by
installing Outlook 2003 SP3 because Yahoo will not allow verification of
emails from Outlook 2000. Will this work ? or do I have to upgrade (by
buying) Office or outlook only 2003. If the SP3 does work, can i still
import/export from my other Outlook 2000 installation on my laptop

I dont believe either Office 2003 or Outlook 2003 is available any more The
current version is Office 2007
You dont generally export/import data, with outlook closed you simply copy
the data file, locate that file in eg Documents folder on the new PC, then
within Outlook browse to and open that data file

You cannot apply a service pack to another application than it was
intended for.
