Update Project Baseline 1 from PSI

Hi,

For keeping track of tasks updates i implemented the following model:
1. Set initial baseline on project
2. Set baseline 1 on project
3. When user needs more time to finish the task, he requests task duration
update from PM - this is infopath form.
4. If PM approves, the task duration is changed and baseline 1 is updated
with current value - this should be done from infopath using PSI.
5. From timesheets users can change tasks duration entering remaining work.

In this way PM can track the initial duration, approved changed duration and
actual duration at any time.

How can i change/update project/task baseline 1 from an Infopath form (new
task duration approval form) ?

I would recommend you repost this question in the
microsoft.public.project.developer newsgroup, as you are more likely to get
an answer in that newsgroup. Hope this helps.

Radu, I would also double check with the Development user forum, but I know
that you cant use the PSI to baseline your projects. Once of the parts that
Microsoft did not incorporate into the PSI Sorry to say.

You cannot do this through the PSI, however you could automate WinProj and
accomplish this using VBA.
