Update project custom field using the event handler

Hi everyone. I need help with the following issue:

Everytime a project is saved to project server, I need to evaluate some
project data and update a project custom field, type number. I am using PSI
to develop an application that makes the validation and then I am creating an
assembly and using the event handler to manage the saved event of the project
entity. The thing is I don't know how to update the custom field, what PSI
method i have to use. I tried with some code i write, but i get an error of
401 unauthorized.

Please, any help is welcome. Thanks.
