I have published the project plan on project server also with the assignemnt
for resources. They have written down their timesheets and pressed Save and
Submit.
The problem is that as the project ,managers I do not see any task updateto
accept and move data into the project plan.
I have already approved the timesheet, but it did not help to solve this
problem ?

Hi Patrik
In EPM 2007 timesheets and tasks are two different areas. the My Tasks
page is used to update project task progress by a project manager and
the My Timesheets page is used to track hours of work done by an
individual, this can include project work, training, admin, sick leave
and and other time spent during a day or week and is ideal for a line
manager who wants to see how much time people spend on different
activities. If your team members have completed their time for project
work on the My Timesheets page and clicked submit the information will
not go back to the project manager for approval and thus will not end
up back in MSP to update the schedule. There are two options if they
are using the My Timesheets page to complete time. 1. Rather have them
use the My Tasks page. Information submitted from here goes to the
Tasks Updates page and can be approved by the PM. 2. If the time has
been captured on the timesheet and you dont want to duplicate typing
in the same information again, then it will need to be imported onto
the My Tasks page and submitted from there to the Tasks Updates page.
On the My Tasks page you will see that there is a button for Importing
Timesheets. The users will have to select the period that they want to
import and then they will have to submit the tasks from here. The 2007
environment has changed and even though you can see you project tasks
on the My Timesheets page the information from this page will not go
back to a PM for approval, only information submitted from the My
Tasks page will go to the Task Updates page for approval.
I hope that this helps
