Update says to install service pack Office 2000 but I have 2003 .

Hi

Ive just updated from Office 2000 to 2003. The update site tells me i need
to install a secuirty patch for Office 2000? do i need to do this?

Also my outlook keeps crashing are there any other patches for htis?

If Office Updates is telling you that you need a particular update, I'd
recommend it unless it's something like a foreign language converter pack and
you never use that language.

Please uninstall Office 2003 and Office 2000 if it's still showing up as
installed in the Add/Remove Programs list, then reinstall Office 2003 and
run Office Update.

Not the way to solve it. You sometimes create more problems than needed.Does
the OP have the Office 2000 CD'S for him to use Office 2003 Update. Did you
ask before you told him to uninstall 2000 and to Update to 2003?
