update SP2 and still cannot outdent

I am running into an issue with outdenting tasks. I have read through
multiple threads and updating the SP did not seem to help. I have it sorted
by task ID and that did not help either. When I go to ouotdent, the screen
flashes and nothing happens.

I am running 2003 on XP, all of our updates are done system wide, as that is
how everything is installed at my work. Is there a way to check what SP is
running for my MS project? I want to verify that they actually pushed across
the right SP.

Thanks in advance

Hi,
To verify SP:
Help, About Microsoft Project
The make number (first line in the window) shows the SP level if any

Hi snoozer,

To check which SP is installed in Project 2003, go to Help > About
Microsoft Project Office to view release and SP information.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

I took a look under the 'system information' tab within 'about microsoft
help' and it says...

Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600

Hi Snoozer,

This is not what we see on Project, it may well be the bbuild of an other
MSproduct.
Could you, witth Project open, do as Julie and I ask?

If I go into MS project, then click on 'help', then click on 'about
microsoft project'

It says...
Microsoft Offce Project Standard 2003 (11.0.2003.0816.15)

It doesn't mention the release or the SP on the view at all.

If I click on the 'system info' tab in the bottom right, it provides the
following info....

Hi,

That explains it all.
You do not have any SP installed for Project.

I downloaded* the SP2 for all of Microsoft Office Pro. All of my other
applications (PPT, WORD, Excell) all show the SP2 as installed. Is it not
included in there?

*please note when I say I downloaded, I actually mean it was push onto my
machine from our server at work

Hi,

No, Project is an application on its own right with its own service packs
I'm afraid (just like it has its own licenses)
