Office 2000
WinXP
I have Office 2000 Standard (not an SR) on CD-ROM and installed on my PC.
I downloaded and installed Office 2000 SR1a successfully online.
I then downloaded SR3 and started the installation process. It first asked for
the Office 2000 CD-ROM, which I had. No problem.
It then asked for the Office 2000 SR1 CD-ROM, which I don't have. Thus, the
installation ultimately failed. Shouldn't the downloaded SR1a cover this?
(There is no opportunity to download SR1 as a separate entity from SR1a.)
So, do I need to order the Office 2000 SR1a CD-ROM?
Thanks.
