Update to Office 2000 service pack 3 failed.

Hi, there: Update to Office 2000 service pack 3 failed. It just said that
the installation is failed without detailed information. What could be the
reason?

I remember that before update to sp3, I was required to update something,
and during that update, I got an error message saying that some file have
been renewed therefore this update cannot change it. I clicked ignore, that
update is finished normally without further error message.
