I am having problems with Windows Installation Package Files (MSI). I get this Windows Installation Dialoug Box everyytime I want to open an Office product. It is followed by a dialog box saying the feature I am trying to use is on a network source and then says I need Installation package file.
I tried to update my Office programme (XP and OFFICE2003) and got the following
"Windows Installer patch files (.MSP files) from previously applied Office updates are missing from the \Windows\Installer hidden directory on your computer. MSP files are stored on your computer after update installation completes because they need to be referenced for future update operations. If the files are missing you will not be able to apply Office updates. You may also be unable to uninstall Office products as a result of the same problem. Please contact Microsoft Product Support for assistance."
I am trying to remove Office XP with FrontPage fro my syste but am unable to do because of the problem with Windows Insataller Package Files
