Update Visio Org Chart when data file changes

Is there a command or utility that will update an Organization Chart in Visio
to reflect changes in the Excel spreadhseet that originally was used by the
Wizard to create the Organization Chart. I would prefer not to "re-draw" the
Organization Chart from scratch each time as I have numerous subordinate
pages.

Unfortunately the Org Chart Wizard will not refresh a diagram. Visio 2007
Professional has a data linking and refresh feature that can be used to
refresh the data within the Org Chart shapes. However, it will not make
changes to the organizational structure itself.

Hi,
can I do what you said with visio 2003: keep the structure but show new
values (even custom like tel number not the shape id) from data file?

Data Link and Data Refresh are new features in Visio 2007 Professional.

How do I keep the data from repositioning when new data is entered into the
source file (Sharepoint Contact List) and it refreshes?

I believe Mark told you that it cannot be disabled, if you are going to use
the orgchart wizard to refresh. You can of course draw the chart(s)
manually.
