update with Office 97 upgraded to Office 2000

I have Office 97 Professional with the Upgrade edition of Office 2000
Professional. I cannot update because the upgrader cannot find the ms? file
on either of the Office 2000 CDs. What am I doing wrong? I vaguely remember
this problem in the past and never did find the answer.

Hi Lyne,

If you have Office 97 installed then the Office 2000 upgrade
CD should be able to find that. Otherwise put your Office 97
CD in (not your Office 2000 CD) when it's looking for an upgrade
qualifying product.
