Update Worksheet on Network by Multiple Users

Hi, How can I let multiple users (on a network) update an Excel Workbook at
the same time? E.G. If there are rows of data on a Worksheet, how
can I let multiple users all add new rows simultaneously?

Note: I am buidling a workbook of data rather like a database but I want to
do this within Excel and not Access.

Although you neglect to mention it, the source & phrasing of your query
suggests that you're using a Windows environment - this is the group for
Excel on the Mac Basically you need to use the Shared Workbook features
of Excel, but specifics will vary depending on your specific version of the
program as well as network configuration, so I'd suggest you post to one of
the PC Excel groups you'll find via this link:

Hi Angel,

In this instance it's exactly the same for Macs and PCs. In fact, both
Macs and PCs can share the same file at the same time. On the Tools
menu choose Share Workbook.
