How can I determine if I need the OSX update 10.1.6? The "About" box
indicates Service Resease 1. The update indicates a date of 10/12/2004
12:00:00 AM and I don't recall installing anything that recently.

With a 35meg download I'd like to know before whether I need it or not.

I assume you mean Office update 10.1.6, right?

It's billed as a stabilty/security update. I don't think it fixed any
major bugs. However, it's a roll-up update, which means it will update
from any previous version of Office. If you ever have to reinstall
Office, it's the one to use, rather than doing 3 or 4 separate updates.
