updated version of mail merge is impossible to use

I recently got Microsoft Office. I was previously using an older version of
Microsoft Word. The Mail Merge feature used to be very easy on the old Word.
The new version, however, is very confusing and difficult to use. It is much
less user friendly, and much more time consuming. Though I tried to have HELP
walk me through it, I still cannot figure out how to use the Mail Merge
Feature. Very frusturating.
