updates access being blocked, how do I get past blocks, Norton?

when I try to download updates for MS Office, it seems that some part of my
computer security is blocking the process. I'm using Norton AntiVirus, etc.,
and running XP Pro.

How do I get past those blocks, so that I can download the updates for MS
Office 2003?

Hi Mike,

Can you describe what is happening (i.e. exact error messages, etc)?

Are you downloading manually, through MS Update or through OfficeUpdate?
