Updates fail for Office 2007

Every time MS update lets me know about a new update for one of the Office
programs, I click to install, but it fails. But I can go to the page with
the update and download it and install manually.

There's an extra step for the office updates that requires the user to click
'I agree', and therefore the update will fail if you try to install using
the MS Update program.

Is there something being done about this? I'm running Vista Home Premium X64
on an HP Pavilion.

The error is error code -643

This is a known issue and you did well in solving it on your own. Way to go

Thanks. But the first time it happened, I ended up Googling the error code -
and finally found a solution.

Now, since it's a 'known issue' does that mean that it's going to be fixed
at some point?
