I have made an administrative installation point with setup /a and then I
patched the installation point with SP2. Then I copied the files to a CD.
I installed on a few computers using the CD and it installed successfully.
Then I went to office.microsoft.com and I tried to do some updates post SP2.
They fail immediately without even downloading.
I think it has to do with the administrative install CD. I found a kbb on
Microsoft's site http://support.microsoft.com/kb/832665/en-us
1. How can I make a CD that has the service packs on it but won't screw up
office updates thru the web site??
2. Also, how can I fix my current problem and be able to update from the
website?
3. When the article talks about performing administrative updates, are they
talking about using WSUS as an option??
