updates for office 2003

i cannot update my office 2003 for updates and ive tried updating with the
antivirus software off to no avail and have also tried using my administrator
but did not work either any suggestions thanks

Have you tried manually updating by downloading what you need and then installing it?

Were there any specific error messages?
Have you checked the firewall settings?

YES i,ve tried downloading each individually by bypassing the firewall and
went to the individual microsoft download site but that told me the "page
could not be displayed? my lan setting are on automatic. Next? Thanks

"Local Area Network (LAN) settings" click on the "LAN Settings..."
button - remove all checkmarks and settings unless actually required to use
a proxy and close the window

From a fresh IE window, try the page again.
