I have linked an outlook contacts folder to Access 2002.
I can make changes to the contact details and create new
contacts in Access, but the changes are not reflected in
Outlook.
I think this is because the field "display name" cannot
be changed. An error message appears saying that the
display name is based on an expression and connot be
changed.
When I make a change and then view the contact details in
Outlook I find that the changes are there, but the
dispaly names are now incorrect. If I add a new contact
in Access I cannot find the contact in Outlook, again
because of the display name.
Is there a solution to this problem without having to
undertake a degree of programming?
