updates without software

My boss has lost all of the software for her computer. I
want to do updates and I have all of the numbers and keys
but it asks for the cd. Is there any way to get the
updates without the cd or replace the cd for minimal cost?

Assuming yr referring to MS software check the MS site for how to replace
missing media.
Be aware that older versions of software might not be available from MS
