Updates?

I purchased and installed "Office for Students and
Teachers" about a year ago. May I now purchase and
install Excel update 2000 or 2002 and will it install and
update Excel on my computer?

As I understand it, it's the same version of Excel, just special pricing. Do you have Excel XP
or 2000 now? What does the new version's box say about updates?

Hi Al!

Academic pricing does not come with the right to upgrade to later
editions of Office. If you still qualify, you need to purchase a new
Academic Edition.

Your organisation, however, might look closely at the academic
institutional deals:

This seems to be a much better deal. The deals vary from country to
country but the basics appear the same.
