I received notification of updates for the Junk Email folder, Excel
and something else, KB 936048, KB 936643 and KB 940602. After
repeatedly saying it could not install, I then put the Office 2003
disk in and it must finally have accepted it because when I went to
switch off at night, it said it was installing 3 updates before
shutting down.

Now I can't get rid of the yellow update icon wanting me to install
the updates !

Anyone have any idea what is going on ?
