Why is it since I got my last lot of updates I have to click onto my name
instead of my screen loading in as before. This happened last year as well
but I did more updates and it righted it's self ,but I can't get any more
updates so how do I get rid of this annoying thing. I dont know much about
computers so will be unable to go into the hidden files to mess with them.

Do you mean automatically log into Windows XP?

Go to the Start Menu and the Run box.
.. Type in the following:
control userpasswords2
.. now click OK
.. In the new Windows that appears select the account you wish to make the
primary logon.
.. Now uncheck the "Users must enter a username and password..." box.
.. Hit Apply and a dialog box will appear asking you to confirm the
selected users password.

Click OK.
The changes will work the next time you restart your computer.
