I have just spent a number of hours and with the help of others solved the
following problem
To check if you have the same problem switch completely off the
automatically download and install the microsoft windows updates. (Control
panel/security centre)
Restart.......if your computer runs normally now, then you have the same
problem!
I will then go through the proceedure to fix the problems
i havent bothered with all detail it all now as it might not effect many
people
