updatng link while presentation

I have an excel sheet refreshes data every minute, I have linked the spread
sheet to a ppt presentation file, the auto link works fine in the design mode
but it does not work during slide presentation. Does anyone have solution to
this problem?

You could try my free update links add-in
(http://skp.mvps.org/updtlinks.htm). Ensure that your excel workbook is set
to Shared mode and not exclusive.
