Updgrade to Outlook to 98 and lost some recent files

I have just tried upgrading Outlook 97 to 98 and when I
did this I Import .pst file however it did not transfer
my most recent Contacts and e-mail from Sept 19 to Oct 1.
How do I recover them?

Why did you import your .pst file? If you upgraded, Outlook should continue using the same mail profile and data as you used with OUtlook 97.
