Updrading Outlook from 2002 to 2003

I run Office 2002 on one computer. Just got a new PC, will be installing
Office 2003 on it. Can I copy the .PST file from 2002 onto a CD, then use
that to import into the new 2003 version on the new PC? So I can get all my
existing messages, folders, accounts, etc.?

Additionally, if I am able to do that once -- can I sometime in the future,
do that again so I can completely replace what I imported before?

Thank you.

Why do you think the only way to get old Outlook Data into a new Outlook installation is by importing?

Just copy the dang file and open it in Outlook - File->Open->Outlook Data File.

Importing is meant to "translate" non-Outlook data into a format that Outlook can use.
