Hi Lillian,
In general, it should work. Unlike an installation of Office, which involves registry entries an Office Admin Point is a structured
set of files (i.e. specific subfolders) and there is already a method for pointing to alternate Office Installation Point locations
with a client side registry change. Also, you should be able to, having kept a copy, restore the original Office Admin Point should
you encounter any unexpected problem.
The MST or CMW files you create may be looking for a specific .MSI file/location but that can be handled through setup.INI or
command line options.

Does anyone know if I can make a copy of my Admin Install, apply the service
packs and then copy it back when we are ready to do the upgrade? Thanks >>
