When my old Dell computer was struck by lightning last year, I bought a new
Compaq. It came with Office Word 2007 but I needed Publisher and Outlook,
so I installed the Office 2003 Professional edition I had bought for the old
computer. As most of you probably know, and I soon found out, Outlook 2003
and Word 2007 do not work well together, so I decided to check out Office
2007. I downloaded the trial version of Office Professional 2007 and I
really like it. The only thing that worries me is that the 2007 trial
version wiped out the 2003 version and now how do I upgrade? Is it necessary
to un-install the trial 2007and re-install the 2003 in order to be able to
upgrade, or do I simply need proof that I bought the 2003 version? If I need
to re-install, will I have trouble re-installing the 2003 version?
