Upgrade from Office 97 to Office 2003 Pro

I have a couple of machines networked. They are running Windows 2000
Professional. They have Office 97 pro with serv. pack 2 installed. I need
to upgrade to have software compatibility with one of the manufacturers I
deal with to at least Office 2000 pro or above. I would like to go to
Office 2003 pro to have the latest version. Can I install on my laptop and
desktop with only 1 license? I want to get the feel before I buy additional
licenses.

One license I believe equals one machine. It's been that way for Windows XP
and Office XP. so Office 2003 shouldn't be any different.
