Does anyone know whether upgrading to the 2004 version of office for
mac involves a "delete all and and replace" job on Office x programs
or just modifications to them?
The reason for this strange request is that when I was buying the mac
and the word package I didn't think it through and have got the Office
version for the Spanish market.
While I know it would improve my Spanish to learn the translations for
the menu instructions,
1 you normally don't have time when you need to use them and I never
get round to it afterwards; and
2 The grammar check and some other functions are not as extensive in
the Spanish version when you are using English.
For a time i got the english updates to work with the Spanish edition
but it then went very very pearshaped and i really don't want to go
through all of that again. It would be cost effective to buy a
completely new version which i cannot really justify at the moment.
Thanks
