Upgrade from Office XP to Office 2003?

XPJim

I have something called Office 2002 installed on my local machine. The box and CD call it Office XP Professional. Why it installed as Office 2002 beats me

Anyway, I want Office 2003 Pro and it looks like I have to start with a new version as all the 2003 upgrades seem to not upgrade from Office XP. Is this correct?

The individual apps are 2002. as in Excel 2002, Word 2002. the Suite is
called Office XP. In effect you actually "upgrade the individual apps".
Hope this sorts your quandary.

Hi Jim,

The Office XP editions contained 2002 series product apps.
Office XP editions, except the Student & Teachers Edition support
the use of any Office 2003 edition.
