Upgrade from Viso 5

Hello: I have a Visio program version 5 and I wish to upgrade it. I would
like to know the cost for the upgraded version. My reason for the upgrade is
that I am not able to create PDF files with the current version. Thank you

You should be able to create PDFs with Visio 5. To actually create PDFs you
need to use a program that pretends to be a printer. So programs like Visio
5 think they are writing to a printer.

The bad news is that Visio 5 is too old to qualify for an upgrade to the
current version. You may be able to find an upgrade to MS Visio 2000 or
Visio 2002 from a company that sells used or discounted software. This will
allow you to qualify for an upgrade to Visio 2003 (the latest version).
Remember, the cost for this double upgrade may be more than buying a full
copy.

with Visio 5 by following your suggestion.
