Upgrade from Works Suite to Office

My new computer came with Work Suite and opperates with XP Home edition. My old computer had Office 2000. The old computer just crashed and was discarded. Can I load Office 2000 Standard on my new computer with Work Suite?

To add to what Paul said, only if your Office 2000 was not an OEM
installation and was purchased retail, not from the Manufacturer.

And in addition:
If your Office 2000 is an upgrade version, your new Works Suite is not a
qualifying product for installation.
Your Works Suite likely includes Word 2002. You should which version of
Word - 2000 or 2002 you want to use. If you desire to use Word 2002, use a
custom install for Office 2000 and choose not to install Word 2000. If you
desire to use Word 2000, IMO you should first uninstall Word 2002 that is
included in your Works Suite.
