Upgrade Installation

Hal

I am going to move my Office 2007 from an old computer to a new one. I have
the upgrade version. Do I need to first install Office 2003 on the new
computer and do a regular upgrade or is there a way to do a clean install of
Office 2007 without first installing 2003.

THANKS

Once any trial version of Office has been removed from your new system (if
any has already been installed by the manufacturer) put the 2007 install
disk in the drive. Start the installation and when the installation program
can't find a qualifying product on the hard drive it will ask where it can
find one. Put the 2003 disk in the drive and tell the program which drive
letter it is. It will search the drive for a qualifying product, when it
finds one it will then continue the install. You will have to remove the
2003 cd and install the 2007 disk.
