Hello,

At the office we have office 2003 upgraded from office 2000.
What I would like to know is if it's possible to reinstall office 2003
without have office 2000 installed or without the need of office 2000 cd.
For instance, redirecting the search of office 2000 cd to a network drive.
Thanks

Depending. You can use the Office 2003 Upgrade version and start the install without Off2000 installed. When it asks you for a previous Office install as proof of eligililibity just put in your Off2000 Disk. It will then let you continue the install of Off2003 without having Office 2000 being installed.

Thanks for your answer but as I said I would like to do it without the need
of the office 2000 cd too.
For instance, redirecting the search of office 2000 cd to a network drive.
Thanks

Installing a upgrade needs the qualifying product installed or the
qualifying product CD. If you have Office 2003 installed and are
considering re-installing to try to fix some problem, then you do not need
the Office 2000 CD. Use Help, Detect and Repair in any Office 2003
application or use one of the repair options in setup or Control Panel,
Add/Remove Programs Change.
