Hi,
We are in the process of upgrading office on our workstations from Office
2000 SR1a to Office 2003 SP1.
In Outlook 2000 we have been using macro's which are digitally signed by a
digital certificate we created ourself for internal use.
The security setting is set to medium in Outlook. When a macro is run for
the first time and the security warning dialog appears we have checked
"always trust macros from this source". After this we could use our macro's
without any warnings. The digital signature is visible in
macro's/security/trusted publishers.
When we upgrade to Office 2003 and set the macro security setting to medium,
we get the security warning again, but this time the checkbox "always trust
macros from this source" is disabled (grayed out). And the trusted
publishers list is empty.
Are digital signatures created in Office 2000 not compatible with Office
2003 ?
Anybody any idea?
Thanks,
Jan
