Upgrade office 2000 premium invalid key

My computer is about 22 months old. I have Office 2000 premium. My computer
wanted to upgrade to 2003 every time I opened any of the Office 2000
applications, the upgrade a trial version that came with the 'puter. I always
said no to the upgrade as workplace computers were running 2000. Slowly my
Office has morphed into 2000+ and no longer has certain simple functions. So
I want to upgrade to 2003 for work. I can't find the upgrade anywhere so I
tried to run the trial but the upgrade process says I have an invalid key. I
ran MGADiag. It says the key is valid (see printout). How do I get out of
this mess? In the end I need to be running 2003.

You need to buy the upgrade. Even if you can get the trial of 2003 to work,
what are you going to do at the end of the free time? You'll be up a creek
without a paddle.

Check Amazon.com. They still had some vendors with copies of 2003 available
recently.
