Upgrade Office 2000 Pro to Office 2003 Pro

Tried to upgrade my Office 2000 Pro to Office 2003 Pro,
I never could get it to work, it would always hang. Tried
to completely uninstall Office 2000 Pro and then install
Office 2003 Pro, still failed. My OS is XP SP1 for Tablet
PC. Any clue?
