upgrade or new Access required?

I have Works on my old computer (Win '95, pentium 90) and
I'd like to put Access on it. Some people have told me I
can upgrade to '97, some say I can't...I'd like 2000, can I
do a straight upgrade, a double upgrade, or do I have to
get the full program?
Thanks,
Mary

1. Microsoft no longer supplies Access97 or Access2K.
Unless you want to search aution sites or old-ware sites,
your only choice is Office/Access XP.

2. P90 is rather slow to run most current software. It
is probably OK for A97 but certainly not A2K. One of my
clients is in the process of replacing a P2 (300 MHz?, 192
MB RAM) because it takes too long to load OS (W2K) &
Access2K.

3. Office / Access XP will need at least W98 to run.
