If what you mean is: "Is there a smooth, in-place way to upgrade from
Project Server 2002 to Project Server 2003", my personal answer would
be "no," but that depends on how many components you have running on
the Project Server.
I recently attempted an in-place upgrade on a Win 2000 server that was
running IIS, SharePoint Team services, and Project Server 2002. (It
was also running SQL server, but we have other SQL servers, too.)
I got the OS upgraded to Win 2003 (including IIS), but when I hit the
"upgrade" to Windows SharePoint Services, I decided that there was
just too much old IIS and SharePoint muck remaining on the server and
that a clean install would be faster/easier.
My results would likely have been different if I had the separate
components on separate servers. And if I *had* to do the upgrade, I
probably could have, but it would have taken a lot of time to make it
"neat."
Others may wish to disagree with me here and I'd be interested in
other's experiences.
