Upgrade PPT Audio Capabilities

Withing PPT you can completely insert a WAVE audio file to play or loop with
the presentation. It would be great if PPT had an add in or a service pack
upgrade that allowed the same capability for MID and MP3 files as well
instead of a LINK.

This should also be compatible with older versions as well from at least
2000 until present.

Hi R.L.,

MS Office 2000 is out of the dev/support/update cycle, but you may want to check with the folks in the Powerpoint newsgroup using
the link below for some of the tips/tricks for working with audio in a PPT presentation.

Tthanks for the feedback. I understand that it's out of development however I
also use 2003 and it will not do that either. You can insert the files but
they only work as links unlike the Wav file where you can set under options
that it will actually include the entire file in the PPT which is handy for
sending via e-mail, etc.

I will check out the newgroups though. Thanks again for the tip!
