upgrade prj wrkspaces

Hi, Im trying to upgrade the project workspaces from 2003 to 2007 using the
stsadm tool from the cmd line.

I have a copy of the 2003 content DB on the 2007 db server. I ran stsadm.exe
from the command line on the 2007 App/Web server which looks like this:
stsadmin.exe -o addcontentdb -url http://2007server:port -databasename
2003contentdb -databaseserver 2007dbserver

i get and error that reads "2003contentdb on 2007dbserver contains
user-defined schema. Databases must be empty before they can be used.
Delete all of the tables, stored procedures ...."

Can anyone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?

After searching the web i found one person that says he recieved this error
because he forgot to run the prescan tool. I am guilty of this too, so I
tried to run the tool but now that will not work either.

I tried "prescan.exe /v http://2003server:80" and I've tried the PWA url
when that didnt work. The cmd prompt returns an error just saying "error in
the prescan tool, see log file" but there is no log file in the specified
path.
