Upgrade Problems

Hello
I created a website with Publisher 2000 and I have just
purchased the 2003 upgrade with Digital Imaging and
wondering if someone can tell me where to go for
compatability issues. Also, I notice that there are a
number of references to Service Packs. How will this
affect me if I am only upgrading Publisher and not the
rest of office.
Thanks

Hey Syd - You want to handle this one?

As for the service packs, your computer will know what to do.

If your site is very large (more than a few pages), you may want to stay in
publisher 2000 for the time being. There are issues with bloated code in
Publisher 2003, though the service pack seems to help somewhat. A few of us are
praying and keeping our fingers crossed that M$ will eventually improve
Publisher with respect to using it for websites more than a very few pages long.
At present, it appears that Publisher 2000 is still the best version for
websites more than a few pages long.

All that being said, you may or may not have trouble moving native Publisher
files from 2000 to 2003, but you probably will have to do at least some
doctoring.
