Upgrade PS2007 from SP1 to current updates

What is the best way to update our PS2007 installation (currently on SP1)
with the latest cumulative updates? Can we just install the latest update
from Dec 2009 in a test environmnet or is it necessary to install other PS
updates first?

Hi RQ,

you need to install SP2 first. After that you can apply CU December.
Cumulative always means since latest Service Pack.
