Upgrade question

I am currently running office 97 pro. I was given office xp pro full
version. Are there any issues installing the full version over 97. Should I
uninstall 97 first, or will it install ok? Also I have two computers on my
home network, I heard you can install office on two computers if one is a
laptop. Is this true? And what if my second computer is not a laptop, will
it still work on my home network or do I have to buy another license?

Hi, Chris,

Office XP installation will offer to remove Office 97 automatically. If you
have a retail license for Office XP, you can install it on one desktop and
one laptop. To be certain, read the license agreement that comes with the
copy of Office XP you were given.
