UPGRADE QUESTION

I am currently using Publisher 1997. Will later versions of Publisher (2000,
2002, 2003) open files created in Publisher 1997?

Yes... There is a WordArt issue. I would leave Publisher 97 installed or
re-install in its own folder.

I don't find your "Yes" answer true. I don't find that my 2000 files will
open in version 2002. Is there a way I can do that? Thanks

I don't have Norton (wouldn't use it, caused too much trouble). None of the
2000 files open no matter how often I try. - Do you know where I can
get a copy of MS Publisher 2000 without having to buy it? Someone may have a
copy for sale at a reasonable price.

It seems ridiculous that MS would totally change a program and leave users
without a way to migrate to a newer version. But MS is not known for being
too caring.

Thank Mary

Something else is going on here. Publisher 2003 and 2007 absolutely can open
2000 publications. Do you have a default printer enabled?

Can you send me one of your files?
