Hi HHG,

Check in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel to see what MS Office editions are listed there. The CD you have and the
edition used initially on the PC, especially if it came with Office pre-installed may not be the same.

The add/remove programs shows the small business version, which i never knew
i had. Do I delete it? The Student/Teacher version is the only accessible
version.

Hi HHG,

If you don't have the CDs for MS Office XP Small Business Edition (an OEM/'preinstalled' edition) [there may be a compressed CD
stored on the PC for you to burn to a CD - check the menu for utilities by the PC supplier on Start=>Programs] then you may want to
(1) backup your data, (2) uninstall MS Office Small Business Edition, (3) restart the PC and then (4) install the MS Office
Student/Teachers Edition to the same location.

Note that the apps in the Small Business Edition are not all available in the Office Standard/Student/Teachers editions.

If you paid for the PC with Office you may want to contact the PC supplier for the Small Business Edition CD.
