upgrade to 03 from 98

What I meant was: I only have project 98. If I buy 2003
project, will it work and will it upgrade my project 98?
I only have 98 on the computer--don't have any cd's or
stuff, it's lost.

It should work on that computer. But may not work if you are installing on
another computer.

I guess the better question is:

Project 98 is installed on another computer. However, the
computer we want to upgrade to does not have project 98.
We have lost the original cd-rom.

How can we upgrade to 2003? Do we need to get a
replacement cd and if so, how?

Oh, then that is a different problem. You might try calling microsoft
support and see what they can do about it.
