Office 2000 is scheduled for limited support soon so I would bet you would
do better with Office 2003, or XP at the earliest version to purchase.
Office 2000 is hard to come by, and Office XP is probably just about as hard
to come by. Office 2003 is the most current version, widely available, and,
if you are a quailfying student or teacher, or family member of one of the
qualifying persons, you can get the Student and Teachers edition that can be
installed on 3 computers. No requirement for them to be used by the same
person either, nor is there a requirement for the types of computers it can
be installed on.

After furious head scratching, bjj6958 asked:
| I am an xp user now, my old office 97 program works great for me but
| was wondering if I could upgrade to at least the office 2000? Would I
| have to upgrade every componant seperately?
| Thanks for any advice, Becky
